Enrollment 

Enrollment is mandatory and to be completed one (1) week before the start of each program. All students must complete an admissions applications and comply with the following enrollment procedures (See steps 1-5 below).

 

Step 1:

Complete an application for admission.

 

Step 2:

Choose a program and complete the pre-enrollment process.

 

Step 3:

Complete an enrollment agreement for your program and provide all required documents. Tuition payments are accepted ten business days prior to the start of the program. Upon payment of tuition a student's seat can be held.

Step 4:

Upon acceptance into the program, approval of the enrollment agreement, and receipt of the tuition payment, the student will also obtain a student identification number and orientation packet from the the registration office.

 

Step 5:

Attend the scheduled first day of class to start your program.

Enrollment Periods

The time required to complete each program for a full-time student is ten (10) weeks for morning and afternoon students. Enrollment is mandatory and to be completed one week before the start of each new scheduled course session.

  • February 3, 2020 – April 17, 2020

  • April 20,  2020 – July 3, 2020

  • July 13, 2020 – September 25, 2020

  • October 5, 2020 – December 18, 2020

Tuition and Fees

Tuition payments are accepted ten business days prior to the start of the program.  Upon payment of tuition a student's seat can be held.  

Transfer of Credit/Contact Hours Disclosure Statement

Contact hours earned at S.T.E.A.M. Training Institute may not transfer to another educational institution. Contact hours earned at another educational institution may not be accepted by S.T.E.A.M. Training Institute. You should obtain confirmation that S.T.E.A.M. Training Institute will accept any contact hours you have earned at another educational institution before you execute an enrollment contract or agreement. You should also contact any educational institutions that you may want to transfer contact hours earned at S.T.E.A.M. Training Institute to determine if such institutions will accept credits earned at S.T.E.A.M. Training Institute prior to executing an enrollment contract or agreement. 

The ability to transfer contact hours from S.T.E.A.M. Training Institute to another educational institutions may be very limited. Your contact hours may not transfer, and you may have to repeat courses previously taken at S.T.E.A.M. Training Institute if you enroll in another educational institution.

You should never assume that contact hours will transfer to or from any educational institution. It is highly recommended and you are advised to make certain that you know the transfer of contact hours policy of S.T.E.A.M. Training Institute and of any other educational institutions you may in the future want to transfer the contact hours earned at S.T.E.A.M. Training Institute before you execute an enrollment contract or agreement.

S.T.E.A.M. Training Institute is authorized for operation as a postsecondary education institution by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission.  In order to view detailed job placement and graduation information on the programs offered by S.T.E.A.M.
